Synergy48 Group Walking the Talk – Business for Good

Business for Good

We aspire to be a true north version of business—one that provides economic development, prosperity and positive growth in a way that is socially just and environmentally sustainable.  Every service we provide also contributes to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

At Synergy48 we believe that brand values are something that should drive every decision and every action, not simply be something you put on your website, talk about or pay lip service to.

Every Synergy48 Group member commits to doing business in line with our shared values throughout their membership.

These are the things we do to support our shared commitment to Business for Good

In line with our core value of Business for Good, every member of the Synergy48 community is committed to making a difference in their own way as part of business as usual.

However, as a collective we are committed to contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through our partnership with B1G1 “Business for Good”.

The ways in which we contribute varies from time to time based on the feedback of members and clients. You can see an up to date record of all the different projects we have contributed to over the past few years in our B1G1 Widget.

Here’s a summary of how we are currently working together to make a difference:

  • Every time any member or guest attends a Synergy48 Group meeting we contribute a meal to feed a hungry child.
  • As a thank you to guests who give us feedback after attending a Synergy48 Group meeting we help provide clean drinking water to villages in Malawi and Ethiopia.
  • Every time a new member joins the Business Specialist Network we fund a micro-loan to help a woman in Africa start her own business and escape the poverty trap.
  • Every time someone attends a Knowledge Sharing Dinner we provide access for a day to a learning hub to help a young person living in a remote indigenous community to develop IT and English literacy skills.

Say Hello!

One-time visitors and potential members welcome

If you are business coach, consultant, advisor, specialist or service provider whose products or services add real value to the SME community, and you share our core values of professional excellence, integrity, collaboration and business for good we'd love to meet you. The first step is to say hello so we can decide together whether there could be a fit. Then we invite you to be our guest at a meeting and get to know us. We welcome once only visitors as well as potential members.
There is no charge and no obligation!

Say Hello

Attendance at meetings is by invitation only. We want to ensure that you will get value from meeting us, and members will get value from meeting you. Book a 15 minute chat with an S48 facilitator to say hello and ensure that there's a fit.
SAY HELLO

Visit

Your first S48 Group meeting is on us! There is no charge, and no obligation. Our primary objective is to ensure that both you and our members enjoy and receive real value from your visit.

Reflect

Following your visit you'll have the opportunity to reflect on whether you think  Synergy48 membership could be right for you and your business. We're not right for everyone. Around 1 in 3 visitors go on to apply for membership, 95% say they got real value from their visit.

Experience

If you liked what you've seen so far... the next step is a 3 month provisional membership experience. So you can get to know us and we can get to know you.

Commit

At the end of that time, if you've participated fully and met our quality control criteria, it's most likely that you'll be invited to join a group. All memberships are approved by members based on professional standards and shared values.
